This volume is different from the others, but still meets the criteria for this series. It is filled with births, marriages, and partitions from weekly Bedford County newspapers for the years 1850-1870. Papers involved were the Bedford Gazette, Inquirer, and a few issues of the Chronicle which later merged into the Inquirer. Fairly complete, with the exception of a major gap in the files covering the period from Apr 1862-Apr 1864, this is an excellent record. Index.
