The county was organized in 1833 and named for Gen. Joseph Warren, who died in the Battle of Bunker Hill. The county is located on the Missouri River. This volume contains a brief history of the county by Walter Williams, the Deed Book A 1833-1835, Wills and Administrative Bonds Book A 1833-1843 and Book B 1843-1845 and Wills and Administration Book B 1845-1853 and Book C 1853-1863.
