Taken from the records of the Twelfth Congress of the House of Representatives’ report on the claims of the Missouri Territory 1812. These records were recorded as those of the “Territory of Louisiana” now in Missouri. These records provide information on several land claims filed for Missouri Territory in the early 1800s, including the land’s location and size as well as the responses made by members of the House of Representatives. A full-name index adds to the value of this work.
