This work is a basic history of the state with emphasis on the accomplishments of the pioneer families. History of Kentucky - W. H. Perrin, J. H. Battle, G. H. Kniffin. (1888). Much information included here pertaining to Kentucky during the Civil War, has not been accessible to the general public elsewhere, and much has never before been published in any form.
